Prevention of tooth decay
 

Fluoride, in proper dosage, has been shown to significantly reduce dental decay.  When fluoridated water has less than the ideal amount or is not available, fluoride supplements are recommended.  (Simply call our office and we will be happy to assist you in determining the level of fluoride in your water supply.)

When supplements are needed, the administration of fluoride supplements shouldn't begin until after the age of three.  Patients should contact our office for recommended dosage which can vary based on the amount of fluoride in their water supply and the amount of fluoride consumed from other areas throughout their day.

Regular dental check-ups at Paradise Dental Professionals should begin at three years of age.  Emergencies or parent questions should be addressed at any age.
